We've had some wild winds blowing down branches and the tops of trees. We've had buckets full of rain drench us and muddy the yards. But we're still here and so are the roads!
Granted, this is only Wednesday. The rain is supposed to continue a few more days. I've heard next week is bringing a whole new storm front. But, for some reason, I feel like the worst is over. We'll see.

- I'm a southern gal born and raised, living in the southeast all of my life. That is, until a year ago when I loaded up my kids, hubby, cat, dog, and a whole lot of stuff and hauled them over 2300 miles to Big Sur, CA. I now live dangling over the Pacific Ocean on the far western edge of the continental United States. Sometimes I feel as if I've fallen through the looking glass like Alice. But, I'll say this - Big Sur makes for an awesome Wonderland!
